Zetian is a complex character whose motivations have changed, but her goal remains the same; try to fix the broken world she lives in while freeing herself from being any sort of puppet. And there’s some romance too! It’s cool to see a world based on a culture and mythos that doesn’t receive nearly the attention it deserves. I can’t wait to see what Zhao comes out with next. ”
