The world has been burned. The final mass extinction is nearly complete.

The dragon plague has scoured the land of living things, and Troyson Strom lives on his small boat, staying on the move, and gathering supplies when he can. But he has a plan – save enough provisions and sail back to the coast of Greenland and search for the mighty rift in the ice wall that leads through Odin’s Gate, and then on to Lemuria.

But inside Lemuria, Yrsa and her clan faces their own threat, one that has emerged from beneath the ground in a dark wave that will consume every living thing on the island.

Yrsa has seen Troy’s return in a dream, but as clan leader she must leave to confront the dark horde, and quickly finds herself overwhelmed and trapped in darkness by a horrifying adversary that is intelligent and brutal, and she is forced to watch as her strongest warriors are spirited away one-by-one to be eaten alive.

Now, Troy must locate the entrance to Lemuria just using his skill, and blind luck. And Yrsa must stay alive long enough for him to find her.
