Antonio loses his job through no fault of his own. Whatโs worse: after a brutal confrontation with his boss, he even risks going to prison. Disillusioned, aimless, and full of hate, Anto wanders the streets of the German metropolis he calls home. Driven by unconstrained inner rage and frustration, he and a group of friends leave a trail of violence and devastation. Deep in his heart, Antonio only wants to see his ex-girlfriend, Anna, again, but it will be a wonder if he and his friends survive the night.
This gritty contemporary noir story explores the dark side of Germanyโs immigrant youth culture and echoes with the force of European literatureโs long tradition of daring realistic fiction.
