Summary

This timeless classic of Jules Verne, depicts the tale of Axel Liedenbrock and his impatient and irascible uncle The Professor as they attempt a journey to the very centre of the Earth. After the Professor finds a coded message by the obscure Icelandic Savant Arne Saknussemm detailing how to attain passage to the very centre of the globe, he cannot but immiediately begin a journey to Iceland to make his own attempt, dragging his nephew with him.
