Linda K. Olson, MD, FACR, is an author and motivational speaker with a Get Out and Go message. A Professor Emeritus of radiology at University of California, San Diego, she is committed to empowering Parkinson's patients and families to live life as fully as possible in spite of their disabilities. She has been a triple amputee since 1979 and was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2015. Gone: A Memoir of Love, Body, and Taking Back My Life is her first book. Olson and her husband, David Hodgens, MD, raised two children and now live in San Diego with their black lab, Sally.
Emily Durante has been acting since the age of seven, performing in a number of stage plays professionally, in the community, and at the college level. Other performance credits include commercial and industrial voice work, educational live theater, and singing telegrams. She has been narrating audiobooks for over ten years. Her titles include the Midnight Twins trilogy by Jacquelyn Mitchard, Casting Off by Nicole R. Dickson, Impossible and Locked Inside both by Nancy Werlin, and Smooth Talking Stranger by Lisa Kleypas.
