They came in summer. They fell upon the land swiftly and suddenly. Through autumn they spread, like locusts, like mice, like a plague. Now it's winter. They're still here. But so too are Ellie and Homer and their friends.

John Marsden was born in Victoria, Australia and from an early age enjoyed reading. At nine years old, he decided he wanted to become an author. Johnโ€™s first book, So Much to Tell You, was published in 1987 and was followed by a string of huge hits, highlighted by the Tomorrow series and The Ellie Chronicles. John has now sold more than two and a half million books in Australia alone, and is an international bestseller with many major awards to his credit.

Suzi is an established Australian actress. She is a founding member of the Bell Shakespeare Company and has worked with leading Australian theatre companies such as the Sydney Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company.
