Peterโs career began with Music Time for BBC Television in London. In 1987, his Toffee Apple album became the first childrenโs recording to be awarded an ARIA, followed by ARIAs for Newspaper Mama and Live & Rocking. His songs are catchy, rich in both musical and lyrical content, quirky, often simple but sometimes quite sophisticated and irresistibly singable. In 2005 his CD, Wake up itโs Christmas was the first ever childrenโs CD to be voted ABC Radio Nationalโs Album of the Week.
