Summary

Everything has changed.

At first glance, the offer that Carter received in the last book to fight privately for the benefit of the wealthy Blobber, Minero, seemed too good to be true. Promised easy victories, Carter had no idea those victories would come at the expense of his friends. Betrayed by Minero, Carter and his team of badass women were forced to fight Darius Windstorm—a legendary gladiator inside the arena.

Carter crossed swords with Darius at the same time as an uprising against the System, shutting down the interactive menu and stats that the gladiators had come to rely on. With Darius and Minero now dead, it is up to Carter and his team to find out just what happened, all the while staying one step ahead of the Blobber armies.
