Summary

Earth is no longer the Earth we knew. Cities lie in ruins, covered by forests where mythical creatures roam and deserts where ancient gods roam. In this chaos, scattered settlements of humankind barely survive, their technology all but useless. The Librarians have discovered that Earth's network of libraries, long thought to be mere repositories of knowledge, are in fact powerful sources of mysterious energies and portals to unknown realms of power. Each library holds ancient books and artifacts that hold the key to understanding the new laws of reality. Our heroes' quest leads them across this changed land, from the underwater archives of Atlantis to the sky libraries of Olympus, each offering a puzzle piece needed to heal a broken world.
