A Fated Vow

Summary

As the only living heir, I was supposed to wed Vanderlyth's most notorious sack of potatoes. Except, our ship went down and said potato sailed away in the only lifeboat, leaving me to drown. My last image? His middle finger.



Luck must be on my side because I wash up on the mainland. A place filled with my father's enemies, home to droves of demons that would kill me for my pointy ears alone.



I take shelter inside an abandoned castle, but while trying to discern a way out of this mess, a hauntingly flirtatious demon spots me. Knife to my throat, he claims to be the lord of this keep and demands to know why I'm trespassing. My mind floods with excuses . . . pleas . . . really anything to continue breathing.



Only one thing is certain . . . By no means can he know I'm the Elf Lord's daughter. He'd kill me faster than I could blink. We're at war, and my father has played dirty.



But despite the scarred Demon Lord pinning me with his poison-tipped blades and breath-taking amber eyes, he hasn't killed me yet. In fact, it almost seems like he wants to help me?
