Summary

The Nameless City by H. P. Lovecraft - Curiosity stronger than fear led the man on... to the nameless city and the secret of the tunnel.

It lay silent and dead under the cold desert moon, but what strange race inhabited the abyss beneath those cyclopean ruin?

Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born in 1890 in Providence Rhode Island. If you like weird, wacky, horror fantasy science fiction, Lovecraft is just what youโ€™ve been looking for.

He started writing at the age of seven, Howard Lovecraft, not H. P., is credited with writing The Young Folks' Ulysses. He was fourteen when he began writing The Beast in the Cave, first published in the June 1918 issue of the amateur journalism publication The Vagrant.ย

One of the 20th centuryโ€™s most influential writers the master of weird and a frequent contributor to, appropriately, Weird Tales magazine. In fact more than a hundred of his stories appeared in Weird Tales.

The Nameless City was first published first in Fanciful Tales of Time and Space, in their Fall 1936 issue.
