Summary

Lucia ‘Luz’ Torres, a junior at Silverwood Academy, an elite boarding school for impoverished students and orphans, had hoped that she would finish her junior year without drama and unscathed. But you don’t always get what you want, and she shouldn’t have been surprised that this would be no different.

Gabriel Karimi runs hot and cold, from ignoring her when she saves him from bullies to suddenly wanting to be her partner in an art project. Luz can’t get a read on him, and she can’t stop thinking about him, even though she has one rule—no guys.

To complicate things further, something is haunting Luz and stalking and attacking her at night. It’s getting more and more dangerous, and soon it may succeed in its attempts to kill her.
