Robin Long, certified Pilates instructor and founder of Lindywell, is on a mission to help you reclaim

- ten core components of an effective and realistic approach to healthy and balanced living;
- a grace-over-guilt mindset to release shame and develop helpful habits in every season of life;
- how breath, nature, rest, and play can improve your quality of life; and
- exclusive Pilates workouts, mindfulness exercises, and deliciously crafted recipes to nourish your mind, body, and soul.
Like so many women, Robin Long struggled with body image and her on-and-off relationship with diet and workout programs. She wondered why she and so many other women spent so much time thinking about how to "fix their bodies," yet still felt so disconnected from them. As she started to explore the question further, she realized she couldn’t remember a time when she felt good in her body. She knew there was something deeper that needed to be explored.
It took a step inside the Pilates studio for Robin to change her entire approach to wellness.
Pilates helped Robin connect her mind and body for the first time. She started working with her body, not against it. Robin’s health and mental transformation motivated her to pursue a comprehensive Pilates certification through Body Arts and Science International and ultimately perfect her own method of teaching Pilates—with a special focus on not just the body, but also the mind. After years of working with a constant three-month private training waitlist, she knew she had to find a new approach to her practice. She had to create a way to help more people—so she launched one of the very first online Pilates platforms to make Pilates more accessible to people all around the world. At a time when online programs didn’t exist, Robin was an innovator. Beginning with a blog, she brought her unique way of teaching online and made it accessible to anyone who wanted to learn a different approach to whole-body wellness. She also made her approach inclusive and affordable.
What started out as Robin teaching private clients more than twelve years ago has now turned into a global wellness platform that reaches millions of women in more than a hundred countries around the world. Robin is founder and CEO of Lindywell and still loves to create classes and programs that transform her clients and members from the inside out. She lives in sunny Santa Barbara, California,
