Since right after graduating High School, I started reading and collecting books. I loved reading and learning about the authors. They were my escape when riding the NYC subway system. One day I found my way to a small family run bookstore on Long Island. It was a friendly place and sold the books I was collecting. They treated every one in the store like family. That started me on the road to thinking about owning my own bookstore. While working for 18 years for a major worldwide tour company I kept the vision of owning and operating a bookstore in my head. In 2002 I started working for the original owners of Talking Books Plus. Three years later the opportunity arose that allowed me to take over ownership. My wife, Ceres, has also been a big reader and as life has a way of working itself out, joined me on my vision of owning a boostore. We love owning and operating Talking Books Plus.
